|Connor is a licensed clinical social worker who works full time in a school setting with middle school students. In his private practice Connor works primarily with clients aged 22 and under. His initial focus is to work with the individual, but will incorporate family therapy when appropriate. He works with clients who present with a variety of concerns including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, adolescent substance addiction, self-injurious behavior, ADHD, autism/Asperger’s disorder, anger/impulse management, eating disorders, family communication, and child/adolescent behavior concerns.|
Connor’s clinical practice focuses on creating a deeper understanding of behavior both for the client and their family. His therapeutic model is primarily Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Behavioral Therapy, and role-play techniques to increase communication for families. Connor utilizes compassion, empathy, humor and direct communication to elicit change in behaviors.
