Ashley Nieders, MA, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who received her Master’s degree in counseling from the Adler School of Professional Psychology and her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Iowa. She is the director of a program that provides psychotherapy to adults with chronic mental illness.

In her private practice, Ashley provides individual counseling to adults,adolescents and children and will incorporate family therapy when appropriate. Using a values-based approach, she helps clients live a meaningful and fulfilling life. She applies mindfulness-based therapy models to aid clients in progressing toward goals while facing a variety of internal and external experiences that may hinder growth.

Ashley implements creative therapy techniques such as art therapy and play therapy with children. After cultivating a strong relationship with her clients, she works alongside them using their strengths and developing new skills to live the life that they want to live.
