Gina Menconi, MA, LCPC, CADC received a master’s degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in counseling from The Chicago School. She has worked extensively with clients who have co-occurring disorders, including severe mental illness and substance use. Included in the array of clients she has worked with, are those that have experienced depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, as well as LGBTQ+ youth. Gina also has experience with disabled children and can support parents or caregivers as they navigate this often lonely and isolating journey. Gina’s approach to counseling starts with meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively to determine goals and treatment plans. By using different techniques, such as Motivational Interviewing, cognitive behavioral interventions, and solution focused dialogue, she encourages her clients to work towards their goals so they can experience relief and live happier, healthier lives.

Gina sees clients in the office and can offer telehealth sessions as needed.
